We invite all those who are interested to the southern tip of the Taktaköz small region in the northern part of the Central Tisza region, to discover the special atmosphere of the grassy wasteland interspersed with sedges, marshes, bush lichens and hardwood groves, which still preserves the memory of the former flood-prone region in its geographical treasures and wildlife. Our Visitor Center of Szamárhát, located in the Kesznyéteni Landscape Protection District, which is an area under nature protection, offers a pleasant place to relax for both nature-friendly hikers, families, and larger groups of adults or children who intend to spend several days here, but it is also provides an ideal enviroment for corporate or professional events.

Presentation of indigenous domestic animals kept in a natural, chemical-free manner (Hungarian gray cattle, Hungarian domestic buffalo, heather goat, rack sheep, horse, heather donkey);

The Visitor Center of Szamárhát is located in an area under nature protection, in the Landscape Protection District of Kesznyéten, and in connection with the Visitor Center, the Tiszatáj Public Foundation also operates an agro-environmental management model farm with a stock of indigenous domestic animal breeds, and in order to maintain these facilities, continuous work and farming takes place in the area, because of this when the Visitor Center is used by you, please take the following into account:

Due to accident prevention and animal health reasons, the animals of the farm and the areas, buildings, and pens used for keeping them can only be approached at a pre-arranged time and with an escort provided by the Public Foundation - thank you for your understanding!
In order to protect their own physical health, guests and visitors may NOT be among the animals of the farm or in the machine yard!
