The year of the wood-pastures
2026 is the year of wood-pastures. A significant part of the Tiszatáj Public Foundation's lands is made up of wood-pastures as wooded mountain grasslands and floodplain grasslands from the Zemplén Mountains to the banks of the Tisza.
We are going to organize excursions throughout the year to introduce these habitats. For the exact locations and dates, please follow the Tiszatáj Public Foundation's and the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Association's website and Facebook pages.
